Role summary
We're looking for a full-time Senior Product Manager in Amsterdam to own our product-market fit and product development from pilot to scalable deployments. Translating customer problems from security teams into clear product requirements, prioritising what matters and driving execution across hardware, firmware, backend, and data science. This is a highly cross-functional role, working directly with high-profile security customers and integrators to turn our current PoCs into Waving's near-future highly scalable and sellable product, solving real customer problems and delivering real customer value.

What you will do
– Own product execution end-to-end, from discovery to delivery, across hardware, firmware, backend, and data science, turning pilots into a repeatable product.
– Work closely with the CCO and leadership team to translate commercial priorities into a clear roadmap, quarterly goals, and customer-facing commitments, and ensure delivery matches what is sold and promised.
– Bridge customer needs to technology, write crisp PRDs and user stories, define acceptance criteria, and align teams on scope, trade-offs, and timelines.
– Lead customer discovery and feedback loops with security stakeholders (CSO, physical security, control room operators, integrators), turning pain points into requirements and measurable outcomes.
– Drive cross-functional delivery rituals, planning, prioritization, reviews, and retros, keep teams unblocked and focused on the highest impact work.
– Own integration and partner requirements, ensure Waving fits smoothly into existing security stacks and operational workflows without adding friction.
– Communicate clearly and frequently, keep leadership and stakeholders aligned with concise updates on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps.

Requirements
Who we're looking for
Someone with 5+ years of strong experience in end-to-end product development
Including defining product-market fit and product roadmaps and managing product life cycles
Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a focus on aligning product strategies with business objectives
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and effectively coordinating innovation stakeholders
Knowledge of AI, RF, IoT, or security-related technologies
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience in the security or technology sector is a valuable asset
